This policy explains how Razors Edge Systems ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information you provide through this website. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
We collect personal information only when you choose to submit it through an enquiry or contact form on this website. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, business or company name, the type of project you're enquiring about, an indicative budget, the existing website address you provide, and the details you include in your message.
When a form is submitted, limited technical information involved in processing the request (such as your browser's user-agent and the time of submission) is also recorded. As with any website, our hosting provider and the services used to serve this site also receive standard technical request information, such as IP addresses, as part of delivering the website to your browser.
To protect our enquiry forms from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When an enquiry form is loaded or used, Turnstile processes limited technical signals which may include your IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser user-agent, the Turnstile site key and the originating website. These signals are used to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated bots and to improve Turnstile's security capabilities.
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, understand what you need, and follow up about your potential or current project. We review enquiries manually through our business email inbox. We do not use your information for automated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
This website uses the Google tag, Google Ads conversion measurement, and the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel. If you arrive through a Google ad or an ad shown in ChatGPT, the relevant advertising platform may use cookies or similar browser storage and process advertising click identifiers, the pages you visit, and technical browser or device information. We use this measurement to determine whether an ad led to a successfully submitted enquiry and to improve the effectiveness of our advertising. Conversion events are sent only after our enquiry system confirms that a form was submitted successfully.
For ChatGPT Ads, OpenAI may append an advertising click reference (oppref) to
the landing-page URL. The OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel can store that reference in
first-party browser storage so a later enquiry can be attributed to the ad. Where
automatic advanced matching is enabled, supported customer information entered into
recognised website forms may be normalised and securely hashed in the browser before
being included with measurement events; raw customer information is not sent to OpenAI
through automatic advanced matching.
We also keep a first-party acquisition record in your browser for up to 90 days so that,
if you later submit an enquiry, our own lead record can identify the initial acquisition
channel and the most recent paid-ad channel. This can include the initial landing page,
referring website hostname, advertising click identifiers such as oppref,
gclid, gbraid, wbraid or msclkid,
and UTM campaign parameters. We use this only to understand which marketing channels
generated genuine enquiries and to compare advertising effectiveness.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used separately as a security measure to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated bots. We do not use the information processed by Turnstile for advertising or marketing analytics.

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, maintain appropriate business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
